Cardholder Status


In order to help you manage the cardholders at your organisation we provide a 'Status' column for your cardholders. This is to help you make the most of your subscription and ensure that your cardholders actually receive their digital business card! Our statuses are as follows:


Downloaded - This cardholder has successfully downloaded their digital business card and will successfully receive updates from your control panel.

Invitation Delivered - If you have invited a particular cardholder to get a digital business card, this status means that we have successfully delivered your invitation but the recipient has yet to download their card.

Invitation Sent - If you have invited a new cardholder through your admin panel, or tried to resend a card, this status means we have been able to send the invitation, but for some reason it has not been delivered yet.

Invitation Failed - An invitation you've sent to get a digital business card has failed. This might be because an email address is invalid, or that an inbound mail server or spam filter has blocked us from your companies mailbox. If you are having trouble with getting your email invitations to deliver, contact us through the chat or at hello@doorway.io and we will be very happy to assist.

Pending - This is a temporary status shown when you have invited a high number of cardholders at once (through our import feature, for example) and our system is working through the invitations. Once an invitation has been sent then this status will no longer show.

None/Empty - If you don't see a status for a particular cardholder then do not worry, it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. Our system may display this if we don't have record of sending them an invitation, or that they've downloaded their card. We advise that for most situations where you find a blank status then resend the cardholder their card and get them back online. For any & all queries or concerns we will be happy to support through our chat.

Removed - This means that your cardholder has removed their digital business card from their wallet. (The digital equivalent of leaving your paper business cards at your desk when you go out for a meeting). We'd advise re-inviting them through the Cardholders management UI.
